What's your wait time for new patients?

We can typically get you scheduled in 1-2 weeks! All new patients are required to be seen in person for their first visit.

We are a full spectrum family medicine clinic however, Dr Moyer no longer manages chronic pain medications (opioids like Norco, Dilaudid, Morphine) or adults ADHD medications (stimulants like Adderall, Vyvanse, etc)

How do I join Home Family Medicine?

What is included in my  Home Family Medicine medical membership?

All preventative exams and urgent care/same day visits are included in your Direct Primary Care cost of membership. We do not charge copays, no matter how many times you need to be seen per month or year. Most common office procedures are included as well, although there will occasionally be a charge for supplies needed to perform those medical procedures. Laboratory and pathological studies are provided at cost, which is a significant discount to standard fee-for-service prices.

Will you take care of me if I get hospitalized?

No, we do not treat our patients in the hospital, but are happy to come make a social visit and to advocate for the best care of our patients while they are hospitalized and once they are discharged home.

Are there any conditions that you do not treat?

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care is a model of healthcare delivery that takes out the barrier between you and your doctor. We believe that by directly partnering with our patients, we can provide more personalized care focused on prevention and wellness. When we take the large insurance companies out of the equation, we are able to provide rush free appointments delivered in a way that’s convenient for you, the patient.

by directly negotiating prices for your labs, imaging, and dispensing medications in house, we can provide healthcare at a lower cost and save you money and valuable time.

If I join your practice, should I cancel my medical insurance coverage?

This is where you have choices about your medical insurance. We recommend all patients maintain some type of catastrophic medical coverage for things like trauma, cancer, and unexpected surgeries. We recommend that you consider meeting with an insurance agent who is familiar with direct primary care. There are some healthcare options for high deductible, low monthly premium plans as well as cost-sharing programs like Samaritan Ministries that may provide an acceptable alternative to high cost traditional medical insurance coverage.

How much does a membership cost?

So will you bill my insurance?
